Main Article Content
Abstract
This article examines the granulometric and microaggregate composition of irrigated serozem-meadow and meadow soils distributed in the Boyovut, Oqoltin, Sirdaryo, and Mirzaobod districts of the Sirdaryo region. The results of the study showed that, in these soils, the proportion of fine sandy particles is relatively higher compared to coarse dust particles. It was also found that the silt content in these areas is not high (1–19.5%). According to the granulometric composition, irrigated heavy loamy serozem-meadow and meadow soils contain a high amount of physical clay, which is especially clearly observed in the upper soil layers.
