Abstract

This article presents the scientific and methodological foundations for creating 1:25,000 scale electronic digital soil maps for irrigated lands in agricultural districts. During the research, a spatial analysis of soil resources was carried out based on soil maps, agrochemical data, land cadastre materials, and remote sensing data. Using modern geographic information systems (GIS), electronic maps were developed reflecting soil quality, salinity levels, and the availability of humus, phosphorus, and potassium. As a result of the study, digital soil maps were created for 3.7 million hectares of irrigated land across 162 agricultural districts. The generated maps were converted into GIS formats, and a unified geospatial database was formed. The research results contribute to the efficient use of soil resources, scientifically grounded planning of agrotechnical measures, and improvement of land reclamation conditions.
