Abstract
This article analyzes the biological, agrotechnical, and ecological foundations of growing micro-greens from a scientific point of view. The stages of growth and development of micro-greens, their nutritional and biological activity, richness in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants are highlighted. Also, optimal indicators of seed selection, substrate types, water and mineral supplies, light spectrum, temperature and humidity in the cultivation process are described on a scientific basis. The article also examines the main diseases and pests found in the cultivation of micro-greens, methods of their prevention, and technologies for maintaining product quality and harvesting.
