Abstract
This article scientifically examines the effects of sowing dates and row spacing on the chemical composition of seeds of late-maturing soybean varieties under the conditions of the southern regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The research was conducted in 2025 in the Denov district of Surkhandarya region based on field and laboratory experiments. The late-maturing soybean varieties Uzbekskaya-6 and Baraka were selected as research objects. The experiment evaluated sowing dates of April 5, April 15, and April 25, as well as row spacings of 60 and 90 cm. The contents of dry matter, sugars, protein, oil, crude fiber, and vitamin C in soybean seeds were determined using standard and modern laboratory methods. The results showed that the sowing date of April 15 and a row spacing of 60 cm ensured maximum protein accumulation. The high genetic potential of the Baraka variety was identified, and a stable inverse relationship between protein and oil contents was confirmed. The obtained results contribute to the development of scientific and practical recommendations for producing high-quality soybean raw materials under southern regional conditions.
