Abstract
The present study reports the results of evaluating the effects of plant extracts on the formation of yield structure components in winter wheat. Application of Datura stramonium extract exhibiting insecticidal properties led to a statistically significant increase in the number of productive stems, grain weight per spike, and thousand-kernel weight compared with the untreated control.
The improvement in these parameters indicates the preservation of physiological activity and enhanced formation of generative organs under conditions of reduced pest pressure, particularly from the sun pest and cereal aphids. The combined positive changes in the structural elements of crop yield contributed to maintaining and increasing the overall productivity of agricultural crops.
