Abstract

The article discusses the spread and harmfulness of the melon beetle; it is noted that in the conditions of the Surkhandarya region, the melon beetle, a pest of melon crops, is widespread in the southern districts of the region and is active in the morning and evening during summer, feeding on leaves, flowers, and fruits, causing up to 80-90% damage in fields where control has not been conducted.
