Abstract
This article investigates the patterns of changes in nitrate (N–NO₃) and ammonium (N–NH₄⁺) forms of nitrogen in irrigated meadow alluvial soils under greenhouse conditions during the growing season. The study was conducted based on three-year experiments, evaluating the effects of different fertilizer combinations on the soil nitrogen regime. The results showed that nitrate nitrogen increases up to the budding stage and then decreases, whereas ammonium nitrogen gradually declines due to nitrification processes. The highest values were recorded in treatments with potassium nitrate application.
