Abstract
The article presents the results of an analysis of the dynamics of the meliorative condition of irrigated lands in the Syrdarya River basin under conditions of water scarcity and the introduction of water-saving irrigation technologies during 2005–2024. The study assessed soil salinity, groundwater depth and mineralization, as well as the condition of collector-drainage systems. The results revealed a decrease in the area of highly saline lands and a reduction in the spread of mineralized groundwater. It was shown that the implementation of drip irrigation and laser land leveling technologies contributes to improving the hydrogeological and meliorative condition of irrigated lands and enhances the efficient use of water resources.
