Abstract
This article discusses environmentally safe methods for managing pest populations during organic cotton production within a cotton–wheat crop rotation system. The effectiveness of agrotechnical, biological, and innovative plant protection measures was evaluated. The study presents the results of using entomophagous insects, sulfur-based preparations, and plant growth stimulators against major sucking pests and spider mites affecting cotton crops. Based on the research findings, a comprehensive phenological calendar of pest development in the cotton–wheat rotation system was developed, and practical recommendations for sustainable pest management were proposed.
