Abstract
This article provides an analysis of scientific literature on the main fungal diseases affecting cucurbit cropsin the conditions of the Fergana Valley, their bioecological characteristics, the extent of the damage they cause, and the improvement of methods to control them. Research has established that powdery mildew, downy mildew, Fusarium wilt, root rot, and anthracnose significantly and negatively impact cucurbit yields and product quality. Based on this literature review, the article outlines the scientific principles for enhancing an integrated protection system that combines agrotechnical, biological, and chemical control measures.
