Abstract

This article presents the results of studies on the species composition, distribution, and harmfulness of the main pests in apricot agrobiocenoses under the agroclimatic conditions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The bioecological characteristics of dominant pests, including the apricot-reed aphid, giant peach aphid, and green apple aphid, were investigated. In addition, the role of beneficial entomoacariphages in the natural regulation of pest populations and the effectiveness of biological control methods were evaluated. Based on the obtained results, scientific and practical recommendations for the biological protection of apricot orchards were developed.
