Abstract
This article provides an in-depth scientific analysis of the assessment of salinization processes on irrigated agricultural lands based on geoinformation technologies (GIS). The study examines natural and anthropogenic factors of salinization, their territorial distribution, and dynamic changes across space and time. It also describes methods for determining soil salinity levels using spectral indices (NDVI, SI, NDSI) calculated based on remote sensing data. The possibilities of GIS technologies in creating thematic maps, identifying high-risk zones for salinization, and improving monitoring processes are substantiated. The research results confirm the importance of using GIS technologies in the effective management of saline lands, the planning of land reclamation measures, and the sustainable development of agricultural production.
