Abstract

This article investigates the morphogenetic, granulometric, and meliorative characteristics of irrigated meadow-alluvial soils distributed in the Khojayli and Takhiyatosh districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The research results indicate that river sediments, groundwater levels, and irrigation processes play a significant role in soil formation. In addition, the mechanical composition, salinity level, and general physical properties of the soils were analyzed, and scientific recommendations for their improvement were developed.
