Abstract

This article analyzes the issues of assessing the quantitative and qualitative state of agricultural lands in the process of their conversion to other land categories. The study scientifically considers factors such as the reduction of land resources, the decline in soil fertility, the deterioration of land reclamation and environmental conditions. It also covers the socio-economic consequences of the land conversion process, its impact on food security, and the problems of effective use of land resources. The article develops an assessment methodology based on quantitative and qualitative indicators, and proposes an integrated assessment model of "quantity + quality". The results of the study will serve to improve the management and decision-making process of land resources.
