Abstract

This article outlines the necessity of identifying systemic measures to combat land degradation in our country, aimed at preventing the negative consequences of degradation, specifically the sharp reduction of the topsoil fertility layer in regions under the influence of wind erosion, and increasing the efficiency of agricultural production and soil fertility to prevent such negative factors. Also, the results of the effective use of land resources, especially irrigated soils, in solving problems of preserving and increasing their fertility, the importance of identifying factors limiting soil fertility and creating scientific foundations for their elimination, the widespread occurrence of all types of erosion in our country, and the observation of various deflationary processes on irrigated lands in the Mirzachul region are presented.
