Abstract

This study focuses on the impact of the pest Oulema melanopus on triticale yield under the conditions of Buxoro viloyati. Field experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of different infestation levels on plant morphological and biometric traits, as well as yield components.

The results showed that larvae damage the leaf surface, disrupting photosynthesis and consequently reducing plant growth and development. The most significant damage occurs during the heading and grain filling stages. Yield losses were found to range from 15% to 45% depending on the level of infestation. The findings are of significant scientific and practical importance for developing effective pest management strategies.
