Abstract

In this article, collection samples of cotton belonging to Gossypium barbadense L. were evaluated for economically valuable traits, namely fiber yield and fiber length. According to the research results, genetic sources with higher or close-to-standard variety indicators were identified among the collection samples. Based on the analysis, promising samples were selected and recommended as important initial material for use in breeding programs.
