Abstract
This article studies the morphological and agroecological properties of irrigated soils located in industrial zones and the level of their contamination with heavy metals. The research was conducted in the Piskent district of Tashkent region, and morphological and chemical analyses were performed on the basis of soil sections. The results showed that heavy metals do not biodegrade in the soil and accumulate over time. This has a negative impact on the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil. In particular, high concentrations of Cd, Pb, Zn and As elements were detected, confirming their technogenic origin. Compaction, migration of carbonates and a decrease in biological activity were observed in the soil profile.
