Abstract

The article highlights the principles of selecting parental forms to create promising heterosis hybrids of sweet pepper. In the course of the study, crossing was carried out between local varieties (such as "Dar Tashkenta", "Zarya Vostoka", "Tong", etc.) and introduced samples ("Anetta F1", "Jemini F1", etc.). Based on the eco-geographical principle and the evaluation of valuable economic traits, 50 hybrid combinations were obtained, and their productivity was analyzed during the technical and biological stages of ripening. As a result, the most promising hybrids were identified, combining high yield, environmental stability, and adaptability to local conditions.
