Abstract
In 2025, at the Kashkadarya Scientific Experimental Station, the Department of Fruit and Grape Agrotechnics conducted experiments on rooting cuttings of dwarf (M9) and semi-dwarf (MM106) apple rootstocks in different substrates for the purpose of propagation of pome and stone fruit crops. The experiment was carried out under 7 different conditions; the cuttings were prepared with uniform length and thickness and treated with a root-stimulating solution before planting. The results showed that the highest rooting rate for both rootstocks was observed in the substrate composed of sawdust and biohumus (M9 – 80%, MM106 – 85%), while the lowest result was recorded under soil conditions.
