Abstract
The article presents a comparative analysis of the technological quality parameters of fiber obtained from medium-fiber cotton varieties. The study evaluated the fiber quality characteristics of the breeding varieties Sulton, S-6524, Xorazm-127, S-5707, S-6575, S-6580, S-8295, S-8296, and S-8297 cultivated under the environmental conditions of the Tashkent, Namangan, and Khorezm regions. The results showed that the spinning consistency coefficient ranged from 125 to 148, micronaire value from 4.2 to 4.9, upper half mean length from 1.09 to 1.22 inches, specific breaking strength from 27.6 to 31.3 g/tex, and elongation at break from 6.5 to 8.4%. Among the studied ecological regions, the highest fiber technological quality indicators were observed under the conditions of the Namangan region, indicating that this region is the most favorable for cultivating these cotton varieties.
