Abstract

This study investigates the effect of the phytobiotic feed additive “FITOS” on live weight dynamics and early maturity of fattening lambs. The experiment involved three groups: a control group and two treatment groups receiving 5 g and 10 g of the additive per head per day. The results demonstrated that “FITOS” significantly increased absolute and average daily weight gain, improved feed digestibility, and accelerated the attainment of market weight. The highest biological efficiency was observed at a dosage of 5 g/head/day. Additionally, reduced variability and increased stability of growth parameters were recorded. The findings confirm the scientific and practical relevance of phytobiotic application in intensive lamb fattening.
