This article examines the distribution and harmfulness level of the main soil-dwelling pests of vegetable crops under the conditions of Bukhara region, including the turnip moth, wireworms, and phytoparasitic nematodes. The studies were conducted in 2023–2024 at the educational and experimental farm of Bukhara State University in agrocenoses of tomato, cucumber, onion, and potato. During the observations, soil samples were taken from the 0–30 cm soil layer, and the number of pests was determined as individuals per m². According to the results, the density of soil-dwelling pests in 2024 was higher than in 2023. The highest damage level was recorded in potato — 21.6%, cucumber — 18.4%, tomato — 16.7%, and onion — 14.1%.
