Abstract
This article analyzes the content of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan " small households (tomorka) farm", the reasons for its adoption and its impact on the socio-economic development of the population. The law establishes the legal, economic and organizational foundations of home economics, which serve to ensure employment of the population, increase family incomes and strengthen food security. The research process sheds light on the role of home economics in improving the living standards of rural and urban residents, the mechanisms of their state support, and the practical significance of the law. It is also substantiated that this law is an important factor in increasing the entrepreneurial activity of the population and ensuring sustainable economic development in rural areas.
