Author guidelines

1. Ethics and copyright

  • The manuscript must not have been published elsewhere and must not be under consideration by another journal.
  • Only those who made a real contribution to the research may be listed as authors.
  • All manuscripts are screened for similarity; text originality must be at least 80%.
  • Conflict of interest and funding statements are given after the conclusion (recommended).
  • Articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) licence; authors retain copyright.
  • Every published article receives a DOI registered with Crossref.

2. Language, length and structure

Manuscripts are accepted in Uzbek, Russian and English. The recommended length is 5–15 pages including tables, figures and references.

  1. UDC index;
  2. title — in three languages (Uzbek, Russian, English);
  3. author details;
  4. abstract — in three languages, 50–200 words each;
  5. keywords — in three languages, 5–20 each;
  6. Introduction — relevance, object of study, literature review;
  7. Materials and methods — detailed enough to be reproduced;
  8. Results and discussion — with tables, charts and figures;
  9. Conclusion;
  10. conflict-of-interest and funding statements;
  11. acknowledgements (optional);
  12. references.

Units of measurement must follow the International System of Units (SI).

3. Technical requirements

  • MS Word (.docx), A4, 2 cm margins on all sides;
  • Times New Roman 14 pt (12 pt in tables), line spacing 1.5;
  • justified text, 1 cm first-line indent (not made with Tab or spaces);
  • the whole article in a single column;
  • no page numbering, automatic hyphenation or automatic cross-references;
  • table captions above the table, figure captions below the figure;
  • formulas typed in the MS Word equation editor or MathType.

4. Author details

For each author: full name; position and academic degree; affiliation (full name of the organisation, city, country); ORCID iD; e-mail address. One author must be designated as the corresponding author.

5. References

  • At least 5 scientific sources: journal articles, monographs, patents, conference proceedings. Textbooks, teaching aids, regulatory documents and ordinary web pages do not count towards this minimum.
  • Sources are numbered in order of appearance; in-text citations use square brackets: [7], [9, 10].
  • A DOI must be given for every source that has one.
  • Every listed source must be cited in the text.
  • Self-citation must not exceed 60% of the reference list.

6. Review process

A manuscript is first checked against these requirements and then sent for peer review. Based on the outcome it is accepted, returned for revision, or rejected. Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements are not considered. The author(s) are responsible for the accuracy of the data presented.
