Abstract

This article provides brief information on the first year of life of the third cutting in terms of plant height and productivity of green mass of foreign and local varieties of the collection nursery of the 2025 sowing of the laboratory "Breeding and Seed Production of Alfalfa" of the CBSPARI. The standard variety Tashkentskaya-1 had an average plant height of 64.5 sm, while the selected collection samples had an average plant height of 27.0 sm to 78.0 sm. In the third cut, green mass productivity for the standard variety ranged from 150.0 g/plant to 366.7 g/plant. The selected collection accessions' trait values, relative to the standard variety, ranged from 90.0% to 169.6%.
