Abstract
This article presents data on the bioecology of the Suriname flour beetle (Oryzaephilus surinamensis L.). It was found that Suriname flour beetle eggs hatch in 30 days at an air temperature of 17°C, 12 days at 20°C, 8.5 days at 22°C, 6 days at 25°C, 5 days at 27°C, and 4 days at 30°C. Hatching of larvae from Suriname flour beetle eggs was found to be dependent on air temperature and relative humidity. Suriname flour beetle eggs do not develop at air temperatures below 15°C, and mass development was observed at temperatures of 25-30°C.
