Abstract

The article examines the state of soil fertility in the current conditions of global climate change in the Republic of Tajikistan, general issues and problems leading to the depletion of arable land, as well as the main ways to increase and restore their fertility. It was established that as a result of extensive and intensive use of arable land and the lack of specific measures to restore soil productivity, soil fertility in the main agricultural zones of the country has been greatly reduced, which has led to a decrease in agricultural crop yields.
