Abstract

The article is devoted to field studies of degraded soils in the lower reaches of the Amudarya River. The research aims to analyze the factors behind declining soil fertility and evaluate its physicochemical state under laboratory conditions. During the study, soil salinity levels, mechanical composition, and organic matter content were determined to analyze the current environmental status. Based on the findings, scientific recommendations were developed for the reclamation and melioration of degraded lands. These measures are designed to enhance agricultural sustainability in the region.
