Abstract

This study evaluates the effects of different fertilization systems on dry matter accumulation and its distribution among plant organs in cotton at the maturity stage. The results showed that under unbalanced mineral fertilization, dry matter accumulation ranged from 83.3 to 130.5 g per plant. In contrast, the application of organic and organo-mineral fertilizers increased this value to 205.3–279.3 g per plant. The highest result (279.3 g per plant) was recorded in the treatment with BMG organic fertilizer. Microbiological treatments exhibited a dose-dependent effect, with 153.9 g per plant at 150 mL/ha and 216.2 g per plant at 250 mL/ha. These findings demonstrate that optimizing biomass distribution through integrated fertilization strategies significantly improves cotton productivity.
