Abstract
The scientific article presents experimental data on the protein content in mature cotton seeds of the Sulton, C-6524, Khorezm-127, C-5707, C-6575, C-6580, C-8295, C-8296, and C-8297 varieties grown under the agroclimatic conditions of the Tashkent, Namangan, and Khorezm regions. The study was conducted on bolls of the I–III orders formed on different fruiting branches relative to the main stem of the plant. It was established that protein accumulation in seeds is significantly influenced by agroecological growing conditions, particularly air temperature regimes and regional environmental characteristics. During the period of 2023–2025, protein content ranged as follows: 17.3–20.6% under Tashkent region conditions, 18.0–20.4% in Namangan region, and 17.3–19.7% in Khorezm region.
