Abstract
The Rubia genus includes about 70 species of herbaceous plants, as well as shrubs and bushes. The plant was used in ancient times to produce red dye, and the roots of the plant was highly valued. Now the roots and rhizomes of the plant are used as a medicine. The article theoretically proves the drought resistance of the plant based on its morphological and anatomical characteristics.
