Abstract

The article presents a comparative analysis of the biological development characteristics and yield indicators of traditional lemon varieties and new promising hybrids. The results obtained during the study demonstrate that an excessive number of flowers does not always guarantee high yield; instead, a balance between vegetative and generative organs is of great importance. Hybrid No. 1-11-5, obtained through breeding, demonstrated significant superiority over control varieties due to its large fruiting (186 g) and high yield (150.4 c/ha).
