Abstract

The article presents data on atmospheric air pollution in various districts of the Tashkent region caused by emissions from diverse sources and its significant negative impact on cultivated plants. Harmful substances in the atmosphere (heavy metals, oxides, gases, etc.) disrupt the process of photosynthesis in plants, adversely affecting their growth and development. The results of the analysis of heavy metal concentrations in the soils surrounding the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) revealed high levels of elements such as Pb (lead), Cd (cadmium), Cu (copper), and others.
