Abstract
Protein, found in legumes, is the most essential source of protein for the human body, and there is currently a growing demand for increased production of protein-rich foods. Given current global warming and the population's need for protein, it is also important to cultivate protein-rich and heat-resistant chickpea varieties. This article examines the protein content of chickpea varieties and lines grown in southern regions.
