Abstract

This article analyzes the main fungal, bacterial, and viral diseases of the Bakhmal and Shodlik sunflower varieties grown in Uzbekistan, their biological characteristics, factors of spread, and scientifically based control methods. The study concludes that disease development is closely linked to agroclimatic factors, and that using an integrated protection system can increase yields by 20–30%.
