Abstract
This article examines the spread, development, and impact of powdery mildew on grapevines in the mountainous, foothill, and lowland vertical regions of the Surkhandarya region. The study found that the greatest spread and development of the disease was observed in lowland areas, with average yield losses of 32.6%. In mountainous areas, the disease was relatively less prevalent, with lower yield losses. Temperature and relative humidity were found to be the main factors influencing disease development. The findings are important for effective disease control planning in different regions.
